Proposal Guidelines

If you are new to writing book proposals, use the following as a guide. Do NOT send a full manuscript.

1. Clearly shown at the top of the proposal should be the name of your project, name, email, phone number, and website (if applicable).
2. A brief synopsis of your book.
3. Book outline including chapter names and content description.
4. If desired, you may include a chapter sample.
5. Additional details of the book, this may include (but is not limited to) the following:
   1. Expected book length
   2. Genre
   3. Target audience
   4. Format of book
6. Short biography of author
7. Platform/audience
8. Format
9. Desired timeline (is the manuscript complete? If not, how long will it take to complete?)
